Save St. Brigid Church, San Francisco

HOW TO HELP

Starting in 2004, the Committee to Save St. Brigid Church has joined with Local Independent Charities and is participating in the “2004 Combined Charities Campaign”. If you or anyone you know works for the City & County of San Francisco, this is a new way to support our efforts to Save St. Brigid Church.

The mission of the Committee to Save St. Brigid Church is to reopen the church for divine worship and to continue the work of Jesus Christ in this community. We represent the parishioners and thousands of others who believe that the closure of St. Brigid was wrong. Throughout the year, the Committee organizes a number of activities to serve the need of the parishioners and the community. We provide aid to the homeless, organize Masses and host social events to maintain the integrity of the parish community.

There are many number of ways parishioners can help in the work to save the Church: writing letters, attending meetings, coming to Committee events and continuing the work of the Parish. The simplest, however and one of the most helpful, is to continue your generous financial support of the Committee. These contributions make the work of the Committee possible.

All members and officers of the Committee serve without compensation. All of our expenses are directly related to our efforts to reopen St. Brigid Church. The Committee's IRS registration number is 94-3198632. Your contributions to the Committee are tax deductible.
